Megan Kelly is an ambitious, creative, and driven, Merchandise Marketing graduate from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. She has always had a strong passion and always knew her niche was for the fashion industry as well as in sales. With a strong desire to become successful, Megan loves to continue to work hard and achieve anything she sets her mind to.
Megan graduated June 2012 from FIDM with her Associates of Art degree in Merchandise Marketing. Through out the years she has over come many obstacles, however, with a strong will-power she has surpassed those hurtles and has received recognition for her outstanding grades, dedication, and hard work by being put on Honor Roll as well as becoming a member of FIDM’s Premier Marketing Group. Over her course of her studies at FIDM she has become proficient in Excel like creating spreadsheets such as sales plans, Trend Forecasting, and Merchandise Presentation.
Other than her education, Megan has also worked internships where she demonstrated her willingness to listen to instructions as well as multi task on various projects. She has had the hands on experience assisting designers in pulling fabrics for new lines as well as using her talents with cading up bodies to send to retailers. Additional experiences include: photographing new lines, creating seasonal line sheets, working retail, wholesale, showrooms, working trade shows like MAGIC and Stitch, merchandising, working with programs such as Photoshop/Illustrator, and dressing for Monique Lhuillier’s fashion show.
